Community of Poets & Artists Press is a small not-for-profit press, based in Walmer, Deal, Kent. UK. It is run and co-edited by artists Susan & Philip Bennetta, who make limited edition poetry collections and illustrated short stories. Imprints of the press also include Pamphlet Poets, Poem by Post, and Artist Book.
Pamphlet Poets is an original series of hand-sewn collections, in the pamphlet style of the 20’s & 30’s, by contemporary poets. Many of these collections include artwork.
Poem by Post is a collaborative project involving a contemporary poet and an artist with one invited to respond to the work of the other. Limited editions of these traditionally made pamphlets are the creative outcome and these unique publications are available exclusively to those involved.
Artist Book is a collaborative project involving a contemporary poet and artist(s), with one invited to respond to the work of the other(s). Limited editions ofthesehand-sewn books are the creative outcome and these unique publications are available exclusively to those involved in the project.
