A poem-film to do with place and being quiet together…
The remains of a previously unknown medieval settlement were found at this site, formally a 100 acres of farmland, now associated with offshore wind developments off the Suffolk coast where we continue this specific project. Images are of sections of the land after excavation.
Note: Clays, in religious and literary contexts, represent the mortal human body as distinct from the immortal spirit—referencing the creation story – we are formed from the dust of the earth; as mere clay.
